La Calahorra vertical garden, Elche

This plant display, covering an area of 100 square metres, consists of more than 3,000 plants belonging to 15 species from 5 different families, most of which are endemic.

This combination of vertical garden and green roof is located in the centre of the city of Elche, in Alicante (Spain). It is situated on the dividing wall of the house adjacent to La Calahorra, an urban area that until now had no defined use. However, thanks to Antonio Maciá, a renowned architect with whom we are very proud to collaborate, this area is now open for the enjoyment of Elche residents and tourists alike, thanks to the construction of a café embedded in the vertical garden. It is a design that undoubtedly leaves no one indifferent.
