This green wall is located in the northeast of the city of Bogotá. It is 30 metres long and 2.5 metres high, totalling 75 square metres of green wall. It faces east, so a mixture of several families (Saxifragaceae, Verbenaceae, and Dryopteridaceae, among others) was used, totalling 20 different species, creating a vertical ecosystem of high botanical value with very striking colours and notable seasonal variations.
It is a green wall of considerable length, located on the first floor platform of the building. This required significant effort in terms of hydraulic design due to the length (pressure vs. flow) and the seals on the channel to ensure that no water would leak into the basement car park. The aim of this vertical garden is to be the perfect finishing touch to the landscaped rear courtyard of this property. Once again, our colleagues at Groncol have risen to the challenge with the use of our patented system to create an idyllic environment.
