EPM Smart Building, Medellín

The first consists of two green walls facing north and south, covering a total area of 61 square metres. To create them, 2,000 plants of 25 different species were planted, with an emphasis on incorporating at least 60% native species.

These green walls are located on the roof of the 11th floor, which means they are exposed to strong winds in the afternoon. These gardens were intended to be the visual finishing touch to the roof and were designed to complement the green roofs. In addition, this building has eight vertical ecosystems located at the main entrance, with the aim of beautifying it.
