CSI Idea Málaga Smart Building

These vertical gardens, measuring 222 square metres with more than 6,000 plants of 20 different species, cover two façades of the new Intelligent Building located in the El Peñón neighbourhood. A bio-architectural building designed to be environmentally sustainable and energy efficient.

The two green façades of this building face in opposite directions, meaning that one of them gets more hours of sunlight while the other is in the shade for most of the day. This meant that the plants for each façade had to be carefully chosen, taking into account their specific conditions, in order to ensure the survival of the vertical garden. This project took a month and a half to complete.

The CSI Idea Smart Building is a project by EZAR Arquitectura y Diseño. It is a sustainable building whose design involves a 50% saving in water consumption, and for whose construction finishing materials of responsible origin with low environmental impact were used. Without a doubt, we have loved being able to carry out the construction of this green façade in Malaga.
